Last week I completed my review of the superstock picks that I made in the second half of 2016. The results, though not as impressive as the first half of 2016 picks, were still good enough for me to resume trading of superstocks.

With all the excitement of trading my first superstock of the year, I did my weekly superstock scan with enthusiasm.
1st January scan (yes, I work on 1st of Jan) - no superstock found
8th January scan - no superstock found

This week I was more hopeful as market activity should have recovered following the Christmas and New Year holiday. To my disappointment, I could not find any potential superstock again.

There were a few US stocks that had a breakout like CHKR, MVO and VOC, but there were energy trusts that I do not trade. MIXT was a non-trust that had a breakout but the earnings were not growing.

In Singapore market, Isoteam and SHS Holdings look promising technically, yet fundamentally they were no where near the standards required for superstocks.

Till next week.
